Don’s Dive Store is owned by Don Lees who has been diving since the early 1970’s, when diving was not a mainstream sport. Don is a very experienced and knowledgeable diver who over the years has been directly involved in raising the awareness of the sport throughout Scotland; becoming involved with the formation of the Borders Sub Aqua Club in 1976. Don became a Sport Diver in 1978 followed by Master Diver in 1979. Don holds various instructor qualifications becoming a Branch Instructor in 1978 a Regional Instructor in 1991 and National diving Instructor in 1992 for Scotsac. Don has worked tirelessly with Scotsac becoming a Scotsac examiner in 1997. Don completed his 5000th dive in 2002, no small achievement. Don is also an honorary life member of Scotsac and has just gained his advanced Nitrox and Decompression with PSA.
There is very little Don does not know about diving!
Don enjoys nothing more than talking and advising fellow divers, he believes that by offering a quality service and quality equipment he will be able to help divers everywhere to enjoy their diving safely and enjoyably.
